Please contact reception to make an appointment to see a Nurse, Healthcare assistant or Doctor. You may see the next available Doctor, or if you wish to see a particular Doctor, you may wait until their next available appointment.
When you telephone to book any appointment the receptionists will ask for brief details of your problem. They are using a ‘Signposting’ system which will help identify which type of appointment can best meet the needs of the patient. Please be assured that patient confidentiality will be maintained at all times. It is not essential to give any details if you would prefer not to.
If you have a medically urgent problem, which cannot wait until the following day, we will do our best to offer you an appointment on the same day. When you ask for such an appointment, you must be sure that your condition is so severe or problematic that it cannot possibly wait.
Arriving Late & Missing Appointments
If you know you are going to be unable to make your appointment time, please call us so that we can offer the appointment to someone else. If you miss multiple appointments, you will be asked to leave the practice. Missed appointments cost the NHS up to £200 million a year.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
