You will be allocated a named, accountable GP when you register with the Practice, who will be responsible for your overall care. This will be Dr Lowe. You may still continue to see the GP of your choice.

Practice Nurses are qualified and registered nurses. Our Nurse is qualified to help with health issues such as contraception and sexual health, dressings and childhood immunisations. We also run clinics for long term conditions such as asthma, COPD diabetes, and minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears. Our Nurse is fully qualified to fit and remove implants and commence all forms of contraception.
The Practice Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The Practice Manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

A midwife will be allocated to you when you are pregnant and your care will be shared between your midwife and GP and or a Consultant Obstetrician if required.
A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
